Grafton Race 8 No.4 Cecil Street Lad, and No.7 Just In Reach (1 x units @ Best Tote + SP - Win/Place), and No’s 1,4,7,8,9 (Boxed Quinella, Exacta, & Trifecta)

A Heavy track up at Grafton as there Cups Carnival begins to take shape over the next few weeks. In today’s John Carlton Cup Grafton Race 8, I am keen to play two at each way odds in No.4 Cecil Street Lad, and No.7 Just In Reach. Cecil Street Lad is on the quick back up from Wednesday at Canterbury and drops a bit in grade here and can hopefully bounce into action from a soft gate with that fitness run midweek on a suitable track. While Just In Reach I think sets up nicely here at quite big odds, loves the heavy, is 3rd up and won this stage of prep last time in work, and there has been hidden merit on the videos in both runs this time in, Ben Looker now goes on and will be a sharp improver today. Happy to play some exotics flair boxing up No’s 1,4,7,8,9 in the Quinella and Trifecta to try and land some value in the Country Cup also.
