Libby’s Look - Play of the Day

Black Bookers from last week -

  • Manos - Run was much better than looked sitting off the fence which was the spot to be at Canterbury.

  • Clear Thinking - Saturday horse for sure, we mentioned it a few weeks ago but had issues at barriers when scratched at Newcastle, no issues at Scone whatsoever, and lived up to my expectations and maybe more. As good a country debut as you will see.

  • I Found You - Good debut backing up solid trials. Snowden stable look to have turned the corner of late also with runners racing very well at the moment. Peter Snowden gave the horse a pretty nice wrap post race and worth respecting.

  • Know Thyself - Well above highway grade. Suspect goes to Grafton or QLD carnival late Winter and wins again.

  • Strathtay and Gulf Of Mexico - Come out of the same race, put up ok margins back through the field think they can both win next start placed right in Saturday grade. Gulf Of Mexico definitely had to do more work in the run.

  • Hopeful - Made a long searching run on the quick back up and was left a sitting shot last 100m for the Gai Bott Sir Lucan winner, hopefully two weeks off to get over the run and will be able to pick off one of these winter staying races for Annabelle Neasham.

  • Our Anchorage - Liked the trial and the fresh run was also sneaky good when huge odds and got back and poked through late over an unsuitable distance at Rosehill. Is in for a very good preparation and think we will get good odds in coming starts given the big SP on Saturday.

  • Fawkner Park - The penny has well and truly dropped and with that turn of foot at the distance could be a big spring contender if keeps going on this upward spiral.

Wagga Race 3 No.9 Tincity, and No.12 She Within (Win/Place)  

Today’s Libby Look Play of the Day is a tag team in Wagga Race 3 with No.3 Tincity and No.12 She Within who I think have both shown some glimpses of talent at the trials and can run a race for us on debut. It doesn’t look to be an overly strong country maiden and I think both can run on hard here at each way odds.
